Macon Campus commencement, Macon Coliseum, 200 Coliseum Dr.


WHY: Mercer law graduate, former U.S. Attorney General and senior partner with the Atlanta firm of King & Spalding, the Hon. Griffin B. Bell will deliver the commencement address for the Law School. 

Award-winning screenwriter and novelist Terry Kay will deliver the commencement address for the Macon commencement on Sunday. Of interest to the media may be Paul Melton, aged 65, who began taking classes at Mercer in 1956, and Donna and Matthew Watson, a mother and son who will be graduating.
