ATLANTA – Nationally acclaimed preacher Dr. Fred Craddock will present a five-part workshop titled “Taking P301 Again for the First Time: How We Can Stay Fresh in Our Own Preaching” on consecutive Thursdays from 1-3 p.m., Oct. 3 – 31, in Cecil B. Craddock is the Bandy Distinguished Professor of Preaching and New Testament emeritus at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. He is an ordained minister in the Disciples of Christ Church and preaches regularly at the Cherry Log Christian Church in Blue Ridge, Ga.
He has served pastorates in Tennessee and Oklahoma, taught at the Graduate Seminary of Phillips University in Enid, Okla., and written 16 books, including works on preaching and commentaries on John, Philippians and Luke.
Craddock holds a number of distinguished lectureships including the Lyman Beecher Lectures at Yale University, the Cole Lectures at Vanderbilt, the Mullins Lectures at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Adams Lectures at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
