EASTMAN—Mercer University’s Tift College of Education will hold an information session on its new Holistic Educator graduate degree program at its Eastman Regional Academic Center on Wednesday, July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Holistic Educator is a master’s program designed for professionals working with diverse groups of young people. Designed for teachers, health educators and family specialists, the program teaches educators and other professionals how to address the differing learning needs of people.

“This program is for education professionals wanting to learn how to diversify their teaching methods,” said Dr. Margaret Morris, program director. “Whether you work with children, adults or families, The Holistic Educator offers you the strategies you need to maximize your skills in a professional setting.”

The free information session will allow interested individuals to meet professors and administrators, as well as learn more about the curriculum of the two-year cohort program.

For more information on the program or the application process, contact Dr. Morris of Tift College of Education at (478) 301-2580 or at morris_m@mercer.edu.
