WHO: Physics teachers from Georgia, Florida and South Carolina universities and high schools
WHAT: The Mercer University Physics Department will host a demonstration contest in which physics instructors from across the Southeast will perform their favorite physics demonstrations.
WHEN: Friday, March 5, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHERE: Stetson Hall, Room 251 (Take the Mercer University Drive entrance and turn left after passing the Religious Life Center. Stetson Hall is at the top of the hill.)
BACKGROUND: The demonstration contest is in conjunction with the American Association of Physics Teachers-South Atlantic Coast Section meeting. The Mercer Chemistry Department is hosting the meeting on campus Friday, March 5, and Saturday, March 6, with lectures and workshops all day Saturday.
