Political Science to Host Second Nationwide Awareness Effort Debate

WHO: Mercer political science faculty members, Dr. Gregory Domin and Dr. Eimad Houry; and Mercer honors students, Ruth Beerman and Matt Stone
 
WHAT:   Faculty and students debate the future of U.S. foreign policy. The debate is free and open to the public.
 
WHEN: Wednesday, March 24, at 6 p.m.
 
WHERE: Mercer University School of Medicine Auditorium, off Mercer University Drive, Macon Campus
 
BACKGROUND: This is the second debate Mercer’s Political Science Department has hosted as a part of a nationwide event called  “The People Speak: America Debates Its Role in the World.” Thousands of debates will take place in hundreds of locations across the country. The goal of the program is to engage as many Americans as possible in discussions on foreign policy.
