Ferdinand the Bull has a cast featuring several Alliance Theatre regulars as well as a few new faces. Bart Hansard returns to the Alliance Children’s Theatre in the role of Ferdinand.  He has also appeared in Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, James and the Giant Peach, and Tales of a Fourth Grade-Nothing.  Bart can also be seen in the film The Adventures of Ociee Nash.

Ferdinand is a gentle bull who is hoodwinked into a bullfight, but he would rather live a peaceful life in the Spanish countryside.  In this beloved tale of friendship and kindness, audiences learn just how important it is to take time to stop and smell the flowers. With singing, dancing and a Spanish flair, this new musical based on the classic book by Munro Leaf has everyone shouting ole!
