Students Present Wind Ensemble Concert

Students of the Mercer Wind Ensemble will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22, at The Grand Opera House in downtown Macon. Dr. Douglas Hill, director of Instrumental Ensembles at Mercer University, will serve as conductor for the ensemble. The event is free and open to the public. The program will include Four Scottish Dances (Malcolm Arnold), O Magnum Mysterium (Morten Lauridsen), Suite of English Folk-Dances (Ernest Tomlinson), Sleep (Eric Whitacre), Symphonies of Gaia (Jayce Ogren), George Washington Bridge (William Schuman) and Shortcut Home (Dana Wilson).
