MACON, Ga. – With its first television game of the season coming up on Sunday, Feb. 26, against new in-state Atlantic Sun rival Kennesaw State, the Mercer women’s basketball team is asking fans to pack three buses for the short ride up I-75.
Three buses with 150 available spots will depart from the Connell Student Center at 10 a.m. for Kennesaw State’s campus with tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to sign up for a spot at the Student Center throughout this week and next. Students will be able to purchase a $1 tickets at the KSU Convocation Center with their Bear card; faculty and staff will also receive $1 tickets when presenting their Bear Card.
The game will be featured as the A-Sun/CSS Game of the Week, and will be broadcast throughout the Southeast. Fans are asked to wear orange and black for the game to show their support for the Bears on TV.
