MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men’s tennis team has been recognized in the latest edition of The NCAA News for its hard work in the classroom. The NCAA honored them for being in the top-10 percent of all Division I tennis squads, based on the Academic Progress Rate.
The Bears along with several other schools received this recognition for its overall GPA, graduation rates and other factors. With the APR information, the NCAA is looking to publicly recognize the universities that strive for success in academics.
The two-year APR data reports released on March 1 are available at www.ncaa.org.
