MACON, Ga. – With plans moving from the drawing board to reality, renovations have started on Mercer’s softball field, Sikes Field. Bleachers have been removed and work has started in earnest, as the fence had been taken down and the posts have been removed.
Photographs will be posted periodically so fans will be able to watch the progress of the field’s renovation during the summer online Sikes Field Renovation.
