MACON — Herman Cain, a nationally syndicated radio host and business owner, will be the featured speaker at The Executive Forum on Thursday, April 5. He will give a lunch presentation at noon at The InterContinental Buckhead, 3315 Peachtree Road N.E. in Atlanta. The presentation is sponsored by the Center for Health and Learning, a partnership of Piedmont Healthcare and Mercer University.

He will then give a dinner presentation at 6:30 p.m. at The University Center at Mercer University in Macon.

Cain has a multi-dimensional background in business, politics and life. He is an accomplished speaker and writer on the subjects of leadership, motivation, national and economic policy, politics, and achieving one’s American Dream.

Cain found success in the corporate world as an executive. After leading the turnaround of a flagging division of Burger King, Cain was appointed by The Pillsbury Co. as president of the then-financially troubled Godfather’s Pizza Inc. In just 14 months, he returned the company to profitability. In 1988, he led his executive team in a buyout of the company, which he led until 1996.

While serving as president and chairman of Godfather’s Pizza, Cain began a second career delivering national keynote speeches, later founding his own leadership consulting company. He has written four books, including Leadership is Common Sense and CEO of Self.

Today, Cain is a nationally syndicated radio talk show host of “The Herman Cain Show,” out of Atlanta’s WSB 750AM. He is a FOX News business commentator and president and CEO of T.H.E. New Voice Inc.

The Executive Forum is a business outreach program of Mercer University’s Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics, and the Office of University Advancement. The Executive Forum provides business professionals with an opportunity to hear nationally noted speakers while networking with other business leaders.
