Director of Athletics Bobby Pope has announced a news conference will be held Monday morning at 10 a.m. in Heritage Hall at the University Center to name the new head women’s basketball coach. Pope said the Mercer community is invited to attend the news conference.
Brenda Welch-Nichols resigned just prior to the start of the 2006-07 season and Senior Woman Administrator and Associate Athletic Director Sybil Blalock served as interim coach.
