MACON, Ga. – Mercer’s 19th annual “Big Auction,” to benefit the Bears’ athletic program, will be held Tuesday, May 15, at the Grand Opera House.

Silent items will be up for bid from 12-7 p.m., with live items going on the block at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

This year’s auction features the addition of a raffle with a $10,000 cash prize going to the winner. Tickets for the raffle are $100 each and are on sale through the Athletic Department. Only 300 tickets will be sold. Each ticket stub from the raffle will admit two people to the hospitality area.

Confidential, autographed by Kim Basinger, and a framed Michael Jordan autographed Los Angeles Times newspaper upon his retirement. The silent auction features items such as ticket packages to selected Braves, Falcons and Hawks games and rounds of golf at nationally-recognized courses throughout the Southeast.
