MACON – The Grand Opera House presents the premiere production of a new steampunk adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland this Thursday, Nov. 10. Reimagined, written and directed by Mercer Theatre’s Scot Mann, the familiar plot is set in a steampunk world where the Victorian era meets science fiction in design and through special effects.

“The work the performers and designers have done to bring these characters to life is stunning,” says Mann.  “This is sure to be one of the most memorable performances in Mercer Theatre history. We’re excited to share it with the community.”

The one-hour production will be performed twice during the school day, at 9:30 a.m. (SOLD OUT) and 11:30 a.m., as part of the GrandKids Arts Education Series. Tickets are $7.
